Rug Weaving Techniques

Hand Knotted

Hand-knotted rugs are usually crafted by tying the individual knots onto a foundation, creating intricate patterns and exceptional durability. Each piece is often considered a work of art and hence is unique.

Hand Tufted

Hand-tufted rugs are basically created by punching the strands of the yarns into a fabric backing with the help of a tufting tool, and then sealing with latex.

Hand Woven

Hand-woven rugs are made by weft threads and interlacing warp on a loom, producing lightweight, reversible designs. Moreover, they are known for their texture, charm, and simplicity.

Flat Weave

Well, flat weave rugs are crafted without knots, resulting in a flat and thin surface with no pile. They are easy to clean, maintain, and durable, and hence are good for high-traffic areas.
